10 Secrets to have a better perspective on life

Given a camera, every individual: Be it a slum boy, a foreigner, a regular person, a millionaire, each us one of us would have a different perspective and that’s the best way to explain how perspectives vary and not necessarily all are right or wrong, so the question is

What can we do to empower these perspectives of life?

The foremost thing to remember is:

Let’s control our perspective before the perspective manhandles us.

After I saw the TEDxUofW of Angela Popplewell, I realized that “Our circumstances are no way responsible to define us or shape us, it is about how we choose to respond, interpret and act to what happens to us during the circumstance”

10secrets

A few things where we may be a little off the track is:

1. Striving for validation always

Is it necessary to make decisions based on a second person’s validation?

Why do we seek validation, though we smell pretence from most of the people around us?

Do we need to be bothered about society before our own self?

2. You are more than a gold mine. Comprehend your value.

It is wrong when you look around for people to give you attention and sympathy.

Don’t sympathize with yourself.

It’s easy to get lured by the society’s attention but on a long-run, knowing yourself helps better in being happy and secure.

3. Comparing yourself with other fellow being is a foolish thing to do.

Believe me, the worst thing you could be doing right now is comparing your life with someone’s materialistic assets, happiness, friends, monetary wage and it goes on. There is no end to it.

4. Looking for logic in everything that happens.

Yes, we do this. Come on, you don’t have to lie to me.

Don’t you look for logic when a person flirting with you suddenly stops doing it?

Don’t you feel weird when that one friend started bitching on your back?

We try to reason ourselves with the answers to these questions, cause if we don’t; it takes a toll on our self –esteem, self-confidence and inner peace.

5. Little things make us way happier then the biggest achievements with strangers.

Ever wondered why you don’t get happier on your biggest achievements at times??

It’s either because you got it lucky or you don’t have the the right person to celebrate it with.

Even our smaller achievements make us happier for a longer time and this is only because you are internally happy about everything that’s going on.

6. We don’t learn from our mistakes.

Well, I am right now the best possible example of this. It’s not that I don’t comprehend my situations better; I just end up in the same wrong situations again and again because of a simple reason that I let them happen.

Learn from Sanchita, Don’t be like her.

7. Failing to stand up for something that you know is worth standing.

You know what; you don’t know the value of standing up for something unless you do it.
Standing up for something doesn’t mean it should only be for you.

Stand up for something without any greed, pretence and it ought to give you back some value, May not be in 60 or 90 days but definitely within a lifetime.

8. Hope, my friend, HOPE, DON’T let it leaves you.

There can be no explanation for not letting the hope fly away. You just know that hope is the only thing left with when you have nothing else left to desire.

The second thing I realized about life is “Nothing is ever too broken that it can’t be fixed “.
This dear friend is a philosophy in itself. Don’t let your impatience and lack of knowledge frustrate you to let go off things.

Don’t forget that being happy doesn’t mean you are a 100 % a fortunate person with no kind of troubles ahead or behind of you, it just means You look the Lions in the eye and realize that life isn’t always uncomplicated, life isn’t always as per planned, we have to realize that life needs to be fixed every time though we don’t have a machine or instrument to fix it always! In short, your perspective can change the way you love your life.
